Astrid Reinprecht

Astrid Reinprecht was the Head of Media and Communication at the Kelman Institute from January 2016 to December 2017. As a trained mediator, her special interest lays with political, intercultural, societal and transnational conflicts. Thus she is dealing with participation processes at various political levels and has ample experience with mediating conflicts between refugees / asylum seekers and the Austrian society. From 2013 – 2015 she was employed with the Austrian diplomatic service (Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs). Astrid has ample experience in hosting and facilitation, and has taught several academic courses at university. Astrid completed a PHD in Political Science at the University of Vienna and the European University Institute in Florence, and holds a Master of Science from Oxford University.
